Gunsmith Fit Conversion Kits

Colt 1911 style pistols

  • Colt 1911 style pistols, includes Springfield Armory, Para-Ordinance, Kimber ETC;  5" Govt models and 4 1/4" Commander models.
 

The following parts are included in the conversion kit:

  1. Guide Rod & Buffer System with Dual Recoil (32 lb. total) Springs and Recoil Spring Plug (pin take-down style)
  2. Heavy Duty Firing Pin Spring and Firing Pin (fits series 70 or 80)
  3. Heavy Duty Extractor (fits series 70 or 80)
  4. Extended Ejector
  5. Oversize Firing Pin Stop
  6. One 7 round Stainless Steel Combat 1911 Magazine (no magazine is supplied with Para-Ordinance conversion kits)

Note: Some machine work is required.

While some steps of the 45Super® conversion process can be performed by individuals, some steps will require gunsmith expertise and should not be attempted by unqualified individuals.  Ace Custom 45's recommends that this conversion kit be installed completely by a qualified competent gunsmith familiar with the .45 ACP Government Model pistol.

NOTE:  All 4 1/4" model pistols must be limited to the "45Super"®   Tactical Loads!

Smith & Wesson Pistols

  1. Menck impact buffer recoil system rated for 45SUPER® ammunition.
  2. Heavy Duty Firing Pin Spring.
  3. Heavy Duty Extractor Spring.
  4. 3 Extra power magazine springs.

Glock Model-21

Ace Custom 45's now offers our "45Super"® component parts conversion kit to convert your Glock Model-21 pistol to shoot the powerhouse "45Super"® ammunition.
*Note - After installation of our component parts the customer must then have his-her pistol auto-ported by Mag-Na-Post Int. Inc., just as we do!  Failure to have the auto-porting process performed prior to firing "45Super"® ammunition can cause damage to the pistol!

The Glock Model-21 "45Super"® Conversion Component Parts Kit contains the following component parts:

  1. "45Super"® Barrel - Manufactured by Bill Jarvis @ Jarvis Gunsmithing with "45Super"® logo engraved on barrel

  2. Glock 21 "45Super"® heavy duty guide rod and 25lb recoil spring

  3. Extra Power magazine spring (10 rd)

  4. Pearce Glock Grip Enhancer

Note: Hi-Capacity 13 round Glock model 21, 45 ACP magazines must have Glock Part #5397 which is a new base pad locking plate and magazine spring guide if yours does not have this part.
The purpose of this part is to help center and supports the magazine spring in the center of the magazine tube as it compresses to reduce the possibility of the magazine spring folding over and locking together rendering the magazine and pistol inoperative.
This part must be supplied by customer!
